The Hendon Mob Mid-Major Championship will take place at Thunder Valley Casino Resort July 20th – 23rd in partnership with the RunGood Poker Series. The event is poised to set records with a hefty $500,000 guaranteed prizepool and $600 buy-in price point.
The event will be celebrating the Mid-Major Poker scene with Stephen Song, 2022 GPI Player of the Year and Mid-Major Poker Player of the Year. Song finished the GPI’s POY race with 3,543.72 points on the year with an incredible first place finish at the December WPT Prime Championship at the Wynn in Las Vegas that catapulted him to securing the title.
As the three time Best Mid-Major Poker Tour, the RunGood Poker Series saw their partnership with Thunder Valley Casino Resort and the Global Poker Index a perfect opportunity to further the support of the Mid-Major poker scene. They will be providing last years and next year’s Mid-Major Poker Player of the Year a prize package of over $2,000 in value which includes airfare, hotel, gift card, and buy-in for The Hendon Mob Mid-Major Championship.
